Career Forum is dedicated to promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices among communities, especially in rural and underserved areas. Our programs focus on afforestation, waste management, water conservation, biodiversity protection, and climate change awareness, aiming to create long-term environmental impact while engaging local populations.
Through tree plantation drives, community clean-up campaigns, and awareness workshops, we involve local communities, schools, and youth groups in hands-on activities that encourage the adoption of eco-friendly practices. Participants are educated on reducing plastic usage, conserving water, and protecting local flora and fauna, fostering a sense of responsibility towards the environment.
As part of its commitment to environmental sustainability, Career Forum actively conducts tree plantation and afforestation programs across rural and underserved communities. These initiatives aim to restore degraded land, enhance green cover, combat climate change, and promote biodiversity in the region.
Under the theme and slogan “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”, Career Forum, in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Diphu, Karbi Anglong, conducted plantation drives to instill a sense of responsibility towards nature among local communities, youth, and school children. During these drives, participants planted 50 native and fruit-bearing saplings and took part in awareness sessions on the importance of trees, soil conservation, water retention, and the broader impact of forests on climate and livelihoods.
In addition to this, Career Forum successfully planted 500 saplings across different locations, contributing to improved air quality, soil enrichment, and the creation of green belts in the region. These efforts not only help mitigate the effects of deforestation but also strengthen community engagement, encouraging sustainable environmental practices and fostering a long-lasting ecological impact.
By combining education, practical initiatives, hands-on plantation activities, and community involvement, Career Forum empowers individuals to become environmentally conscious citizens. These efforts contribute to restoring ecosystems, reducing pollution, promoting sustainable livelihoods, and ensuring that both the community and the environment thrive together, creating a greener and healthier future for generations to come.
