Interactive group sessions focused on sanitation, safe water, and preventive health — tailored to local culture and needs.
Career Forum is committed to promoting health and hygiene awareness in rural and underserved communities across Assam and the Northeast — focusing on maternal care, sanitation, nutrition and menstrual health.
Career Forum is deeply committed to promoting health and hygiene awareness in rural and underserved communities across Assam and the Northeast region. Our initiatives aim to educate individuals about personal hygiene, sanitation practices, safe drinking water, preventive healthcare, and overall well-being. Special attention is given to women’s and adolescent health, including maternal care, nutrition awareness, and menstrual hygiene management, as we believe empowering women is key to improving community health outcomes.
Alongside product distribution, participants attended interactive educational sessions covering safe menstrual practices, proper personal hygiene, nutrition, and strategies to break societal taboos surrounding menstruation. These sessions were designed to encourage open dialogue, build confidence, and equip women with practical knowledge for maintaining their health and well-being.
Through a combination of awareness campaigns, hands-on training, product distribution, and community engagement, the program has significantly empowered women and adolescent girls to take charge of their health. By integrating these initiatives within broader health and hygiene efforts, Career Forum aims to reduce health risks, prevent diseases, and improve the overall quality of life across communities. This work reflects our ongoing commitment to holistic health interventions and demonstrates how strategic CSR collaborations, like the one with Unicharm India, can create sustainable, meaningful social impact in rural regions.
